From Palermo: (km 207). Take the direction Catania, release Motta S Anastasia and then go, the SP13 direction Misterbianco,10 km. Follow signs.

Motta Sant'Anastasia is a charming town located 12 km from Catania. It is not a country of transition and is situated in an enchanting place, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view over the plain of Catania and Mount Etna. The village has ancient origins, some remains date the first settlements around 1000 BC, but certainly also on the basis of recent archaeological discoveries, settled the Greeks and Romans and probably even the Carthaginians.
