There is a traditional Cretan restaurant where organic materials are used for cooking. The traditional kafeneion, is a cafe where refreshments and local drinks can be enjoyed by the swimming pool.
This is an ecotourism unit, therefore the maisonettes are built like a small village inside a large farm, from which most of the produce is used in the restaurant or is sold at the traditional shop within the complex.
If you are looking for a traditional experience of Cretan rural life in the past century, this living museum is well worth it for a long stay. The farming activities will keep you busy, and you will feel the impact of Cretan diet and fresh mountain air for long after you return home. The 14 traditional maisonettes are inspired by and true copies of old village houses, built with stone and wood, ceramic tile floors and terra cotta roofs. Antique style Cretan furniture and fabrics have been used throughout and give an air of a long forgotten rural lifestyle. They are all air conditioned, and also with central heating and a cozy fireplace. Each comes with a fully equipped kitchenette.
